After a rigorous six-month evaluation process, Echoing Green is thrilled to unleash thirty-six visionaries with ideas so bold and convictions so strong they could shake the world.
These game-changing ideas include creating a community-driven emergency medical response system in India; fortifying staple flours with micronutrients in Kenya; providing legal counsel for death row prisoners in Pakistan; using social media to find affordable healthcare in the United States; empowering African-American college students to be leaders in the green jobs movement; and building an accessible distribution platform for high-quality products for rural communities in China.
This year’s Fellowship class is uniquely comprised of both traditional Echoing Green Fellows and an inaugural group of Black Male Achievement Fellows who were identified by Echoing Green in partnership with the Open Society Foundations.
Like the more than 500 Echoing Green Fellows who came before them, these solutionists strive to spark social movements. But they can’t do it alone. These Fellows need your help to confront the biggest social problems facing the world.
