Personal Bio

Josh Brody is the Director of the Sequoyah School. As an Echoing Green Fellow, he founded the Nepali Bhotia Education Center, which is an integrated education project that benefits communities located in the northern portion of the Koshi Development Zone in Nepal. In particular, NTEC serves as a residential school for students, conducts informal adult education courses, and functions as a resource center that provides support for local primary schools. Using innovative educational strategies, the project has been replicated in other socially, politically and economically marginal regions of Nepal. Brody is also a Board Member for the Transformative Action Institute and Educate the Children International.
