Summary

HBCUvc is increasing racial and ethnic diversity in venture capital by creating equitable access to investment capital for entrepreneurs of color. It hosts a fellowship program in venture capital for students attending historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and Hispanic-serving institutions. The fellowship provides venture capital fundamentals training, experience, and mentorship, and it strategically builds relationships between the venture capital industry and minority-serving institutions. By increasing the racial and ethnic diversity in the venture capital field, HBCUvc will foster a new wave of entrepreneurship that is inclusive and equitable.
