Increase upward mobility and healthy relationships for families in single-mother households by offering mentoring, resources, and free family programming.

organization overview

BOND (Building Our Nation’s Daughters) is a single-mother mentoring program in Baltimore that works to cultivate positive mother-daughter relationships, strengthen single-mother families, and lead advocacy efforts to ensure every single-mother household has equitable access to opportunities. BOND mothers and daughters attend monthly half-day activities and workshops that provide a space for them to share new experiences, practice healthy communication through guided group therapy, and build community with other single-mother households. All BOND moms participate in the single-mother mentoring program.
