We were honored to be highlighted as an innovative charity by the WIRED Store on West 18th Street in New York City. This is the fourth year that WIRED has put together a Holiday store, and the first year that they’ve included a philanthropic initiative. We’re thrilled to be among the distinguished list that also includes Charity:Water, the International Rescue Committee, and Forest Ethics.

Last weekend, more than seventy Echoing Green Fellows descended on the city of Philadelphia for our 2008 Current Fellows Conference. There was plenty of instruction, inspiration, fellowship, and food that once again reminded us all of the important world-changing work that our community does.
Check out the short slideshow below, or join our Facebook page to see the conference video.

Applications to the fellowship are due December 1, 2008 at 5pm EST.

Each year, Echoing Green awards 12-15 two-year fellowships to social entrepreneurs. Fellows receive up to $90,000 in seed funding and technical support to turn their innovative ideas into sustainable social change organizations.
