Maya Ajmera and her amazing organization, Global Fund for Children, have authored and published over twenty children’s books. I just received a copy of their latest release, Faith, and I must share it with you. Faith explores world religions through themes of hope, worship, and peace while highlighting the practices that make each faith unique.

Echoing Green staff like to read and we like to talk. So, naturally, a booklist of current enjoyable readings emerges. Check out our favorites in the short list below.

Looking for stories about social entrepreneurship? Author Wilford Welch has written an inspiring new book, featuring stories from twenty-seven social entrepreneurs—including Echoing Green Fellows Van Jones, Priya Haji, Sasha Chanoff, and Karen Tse.
Welch and his team have also built a tool called My Circle to help young people pursue their passions. Definitely worth checking out: www.tacticsofhope.org/

Recently, on PBS’s series Bill Moyers Journal, Moyers asked viewers for book suggestions that should be required presidential reading. This unusual request inspired thousands of responses, and you can see the top titles on their website.
It's a brilliant and inspirational idea and we thought we’d pose the same question to our readers. Which books would you make mandatory for the next U.S. President? Answer the question by commenting below.
