Last year, former Echoing Green Fellows, Leslie Crutchfield and Heather McLeod Grant, released their groundbreaking book, Forces for Good: The Six Practices of High-Impact Nonprofits. Leslie and Heather spent more than three years researching and pondering a seemingly straightforward question: What makes great nonprofits great?

Recently, on PBS’s series Bill Moyers Journal, Moyers asked viewers for book suggestions that should be required presidential reading. This unusual request inspired thousands of responses, and you can see the top titles on their website.
It's a brilliant and inspirational idea and we thought we’d pose the same question to our readers. Which books would you make mandatory for the next U.S. President? Answer the question by commenting below.
