Echoing Green’s central program is our premier two-year Fellowship, which provides more than $2 million in seed funding to a diverse group of emerging social entrepreneurs. From thousands of applicants, typically fewer than one percent are ultimately selected to receive up to $90,000 in seed support to launch new organizations.
The Open Society Black Male Achievement Fellowship, powered by Echoing Green, invests in emerging leaders committed to generating new ideas and best practices for the field of black male achievement.
Our newly launched Alumni initiative builds community among our 500+ Fellows dating back to 1987 in order to foster peer learning, shared access to useful resources, and a lifetime commitment to positive social change.
Echoing Green's newest program, Work on Purpose inspires and equips the Millennial generation—the largest generation in history—to build careers that are right for them and good for the world. This program features the Work on Purpose book, a discussion and activity guide, an online platform and community, and Echoing Green-led workshops presented in partnership with organizations and groups around the United States.
