Bold Idea: Amplify the voices of Pakistani youth by engaging them in quality journalism and syndicating their work to mainstream media.

Why I'm Passionate About This: Two in three Pakistanis are under thirty, but this majority voice is missing from our media. As a young journalist in Pakistan for six years, I saw my own voice, as those of 120 million young Pakistanis, get lost in the fog of war and the chase for breaking news. Terrorism is one of our stories, but it isn’t our only story. In the last ten years, the number of college-going students has quadrupled and innovation is budding from every corner. Hosh enables young journalists to tell these stories and reach mainstream media, making every day meaningful.
