Develop the capacity of health organizations to serve poor communities across the U.S. by engaging mobile technologies to support health literacy and patient accountability and thus to reduce overall costs of care.
Vineet is the co-founder and CEO of Anjna, where he helps set the strategic direction of the organization and feels honored to tell the stories of the patients Anjna serves. Previously, he led a team of Stanford students that helped register over 115,000 potential bone marrow donors using social media. He has also conducted and published research in cancer biology, opthalmology, neurology and epidemiology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, the National Institutes of Health and Stanford School of Medicine. He is a Forbes 2012 "30 Under 30" Social Entrepreneur, a Paul and Daisy Soros Fellow, a Staples/Ashoka Global Youth Social Entrepreneur, Donald A. Strauss Scholar and a Barry M. Goldwater Scholar. He graduated with University Distinction from Stanford University with a degree in Biological Sciences, where he served as a student representative on the Stanford Board of Trustees.
