Carbon Lighthouse enables consumers and corporations across the globe to profitably eliminate their carbon footprints. By combining four existing technologies—energy efficiency, demand response, renewable energy, and carbon allowances—into a single financed package, Carbon Lighthouse eliminates the upfront costs, transaction costs, and redundant engineering/contracting currently preventing corporations from profitably eliminating their carbon footprint.
Biography
Raphael Rosen served as Vice President of Corporate Development at Just Energy, a leading solar energy developer in New York. At Just Energy, Raphael was charged with fueling the company’s growth. He founded and directed the engineering, sales, marketing, recruitment, and other groups, expanding the team by 400%. He also implemented a range of improvements that increased project execution efficiency more than one hundred fold, allowing Just Energy to grow from handling 2-3 small projects annually to managing more than two dozen solar projects worth $24 million. Prior to joining Just Energy, Raphael evaluated cleantech investment opportunities at Lux Capital. Additionally, he developed successful high-frequency trading strategies at Tower Research Capital, a leading hedge fund. He served as a research fellow at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, exploring super-conducting magnets. Raphael holds a Masters in Physics from the University of Cambridge, England, and a BA from Harvard University, summa cum laude, in History and Science (Physics).
