Biography 

Paul Whyte was born and raised in Bronx, New York. Before coming to Friends of NBFA, Paul taught Mathematics, Science, and Technology at Park East High School in the East Harlem neighborhood of New York City and was the Program Director for the Reach for the Stars Program at SCAN New York (Supportive Childrens Advocacy Network), a Harlem and Bronx community based family service agency. Paul also directed Math/Science Education for Interfaith Neighbors Inc, a non-denominational center for early adolescents. Earlier, as founder and Executive Director of Young Voices Initiative, Paul turned two years of research into a comprehensive education and athletics program for 200 teenagers in New Haven, CT. Paul holds a Masters in Education from Harvard University Graduate School of Education and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Yale University.
