Personal Bio

Luis Mojica is a born musician and educator native to Ponce, Puerto Rico. Luis completed his doctoral degree in administration and supervision at Teachers College, Columbia University, and also studied music composition independently with Latin pianist Charlie Palmieri and Pulitzer Prize winner David Del Tredici. He has worked at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music as Artistic Director, and at the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music as Dean of Academic Affairs. He is currently the Chancellor of Caribbean University in Puerto Rico and also serves as the Executive Director of the Multicultural Music Group (MMG).
