Biography
Kulleni Gebreyes MD, FACEP is a 1998 Echoing Green Fellow who completed work in Ethiopia training traditional birth attendants, developing prehospital care and provided medical equipment to clinics in rural areas. She completed her undergraduate degree at Princeton University and received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School in 1999. She presently works as an Emergency Medicine physician in Washington DC where she is the Assistant Residency Director at the Georgetown/Washington Hospital Emergency Medicine Residency Program and Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Georgetown University Medical School.
