Biography 

Jamey Gerlaugh is currently a sustainability consultant and entrepreneur. He served as the Director of Resource Assessment at Verdant Power, a world leader in the design and deployment of renewable energy kinetic hydropower turbines. Prior to joining Verdant, Jamey was Executive Director of Roanoke River Partners, an NGO promoting environmentally-friendly economic development in rural North Carolina, and a founding partner in Forests of the World LLC, supporting local artisans and green entrepreneurs in rainforest communities. As an Electrical Design Engineer at United Technologies, he developed aircraft control and communication systems. He holds a Masters in Environmental Management from Duke University and a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
