George Reyes

Born to Colombian immigrants, George Reyes graduated from Harvard University and New York University's graduate film program. While at Harvard and NYU, George directed, shot, produced, and edited numerous short films that have been shown and have won awards in a variety of venues both nationally and internationally. He worked as director of International Programs at the New York Film Academy in 2001 and later was invited to be a professor in the Communications Department at the Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico City. He currently lives in Los Angeles, where he works as a special education and media arts teacher. He is in post-production on a documentary he directed, La Muñeca Fea.
