Personal Bio

Craig White works as a community organizer with the Center for Participatory Change, a nonprofit organization which supports grassroots groups working for racial and economic justice in the mountain counties of Western North Carolina. In Craig’s work with CPC, he provides training, technical assistance, leadership development, and advocacy alliances with African American, Latino, Cherokee, and rural Appalachian organizations. He is also involved in advocacy on immigrants’ rights and other racial justice issues, and is trained as a facilitator of dismantling racism and LGBTQ equality workshops, as well as other anti-oppression work.
