Create an integrated, comprehensive sytem of services for children, youth and families in high need communities focused on the goal of learning readiness in Kindergarten and academic success in third grade. She worked with the orgnization from 1991-1997. The organization continued until 2007.
Prior to starting the Echoing Green fellowship, she received her BA from Duke University and MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. She ran the fellowship organization for six years. Since leaving the Peninsula Partnership in 1997, she has been working in local government management, first with the City of Palo Alto, CA and for the past six years as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Menlo Park, CA. She is involved in advancing the effectiveness of leadership in the local government profession and has been a published author, speaker and trainer toward this end. In 2005, she received the John H. Nail Award for distinguished community leadership from the League of California Cities.
