The Bold Idea:

PRAYATNA, Centre for Educational Assessment & Intervention, provides remedial education for children with learning difficulties.  Current activites of the centre include assessing children for learning difficulties, conducting intervention programs, setting up resource rooms in schools, training teachers, developing teaching aids and spreading awareness of learning disabilities.  The centre has branches in Chennai and Bangalore.

Biography:

Aruna Sankaranarayanan completed her doctorate in developmental psychology from Harvard University.  She is the founder & director of Prayatna which has branches in Bangalore and Chennai.
