Andrew Newsom

Andrew Newsom is the founder of Serve Across America, an organization designed to connect two groups with unmet needs: recent college graduates wanting to travel across the U.S, exploring their faith while at the same serving others, and residential communities of faith that were doing amazing work serving others (including L'Arche, Catholic Worker House, Habitat for Humanity's Headquarters, etc.), but that had a hard time recruiting volunteers. Through Serve Across America, the recent graduates serve for six months at a time, living, serving, and worshipping in the community. They receive free room and board, while the communities receive energetic curious people who wanted to serve.
