Why are you involved with Echoing Green?
I got involved with Echoing Green and its Social Investment Council because I love supporting and contributing to people and organizations committed to tackling our world’s biggest issues; I stayed involved not only because I am continuously inspired by the work that those in the Echoing Green community are doing, but also because of the relationships I’ve come to form with those who share my ethos of doing well and doing good.

Margaret Wang, New York Regional Co-Chair of Echoing Green's Social Investment Council, is an associate at Goldman Sachs doing strategy and business development. Prior to joining Goldman, she worked in the Strategy and Business Development group for the Global Wealth and Investment Management division at Merrill Lynch. Margaret graduated cum laude from Harvard College in 2009 with an AB degree in Economics and History of Art and Architecture and a citation in Mandarin Chinese. She serves as a Class Marshal and on the Harvard Alumni Association Board’s Overseer/Director Nominating Committee. In her spare time, Margaret is a mentor through The TEAK Fellowship in New York and is active on the Young Patrons of Lincoln Center Steering Committee and on Asia Society’s Asia Circle Advisory Committee. Margaret loves playing tennis, sailing, and contemporary art.
