Two Weeks Left! Echoing Green Applications Due December 1st
Crafting your bold idea for social change? You’d better hurry. There are just two weeks left to apply for the 2009 Echoing Green Fellowship! The deadline is December 1st at 5pm EST.
We’re excited to announce three new resources intended to assist you in writing your best possible application.
New blog for applicants
Echoing Green’s Recruitment Associate, Deva Jones, has put together a new blog for applicants at http://ask.echoinggreen.org. Check out the frequently asked questions or ask one of your own!
Video coaching tips from Echoing Green Fellows
We’ve posted some video interviews with some of the best applicant coaches we could find (our current and former fellows). Each fellow answers commonly asked questions about how they approached the Echoing Green process. You can see Mark Hanis (2006), Chris Myers Asch (2007), Bethany Robertson (2002), and John Alford (2006). Subscribe to our YouTube channel to get more updates as we post them.
Applicant coaching guide and slideshow presentation
Lastly, we recommend that all applicants find a coach to help them through the Echoing Green process. We’ve developed a terrific Applicant Coaching Guide as well as a short slideshow presentation that discusses the most effective coaching strategies.
Best of luck to all the applicants!
