Echoing Green has some exciting news for all you social change techies! The Tech Awards is now accepting nominations for 2010.
The Tech Awards, a program of The Tech Museum, honors innovators from around the world who are using their tech smarts to create solutions to some of society's challenges. 15 Laureates in the areas of Health, Education, Environment, Economic Development, and Equality are honored at an annual Gala event and inducted into The Tech Awards Network (TAN). One Laureate per category receives $50,000. 2004 Echoing Green Fellow and founder of Build Change, Elizabeth Hausler recieved a Tech Award in 2008.
The deadline for nominations and self-nominations is March 31st. To find out more information, check out The Tech Awards website.
