Great Week for Seeding Labs
Seeding Labs created quite a buzz in the news this week. 2007 Fellow Nina Dudnik founded Seeding Labs in order to encourage well-funded institutions in the developed world to donate their previously overlooked surplus of scientific equipment.
The story of Seeding Labs' creation appeared on the cover of yesterday's Boston Globe. The article entitled, "One lab’s trash becomes a poorer one’s treasure" shows how Nina saw great potential in what scientists often threw away.
You can read more about the organization's progress in today's edition of The Harvard Crimson.
Last, congratulations to Seeding Labs for holding on to 2nd Place in the GlobalGiving Global Open Project Challenge. There are great things in store for them.
