Echoing Green Fellows Named Newsweek's Women Who Shake the World



We are thrilled! Three Echoing Green Fellows, our President, Cheryl L. Dorsey, 1991 Fellow, Wendy Kopp, and 1995 Fellow, Malika Saada Saar have been honored by Newsweek and The Daily Beast as 150 Women Who Shake the World. With a list that includes heads of state and heads of households, CEOs and revolutionaries, educators and journalists, all of these women are leading, creating, and building movements to not only advance women in world, but one that advances opportunity for everyone.

Cheryl is also moderating a panel at the Women in the World conference today at 2:45pm about ingenious technologies that are accelerating women’s advancement. Including panelists Pam Darwin, Vice President at ExxonMobil, Eva Walusimbi of social enterprise Solar Sister, and Jocelyn Wyatt, Social Innovation Lead at IDEO, you can watch the live discussion here.
