2006 Echoing Green Fellow Andrew Youn and his social enterprise One Acre Fund were featured on PBS Newshour's Food for 9 Billion series. One Acre Fund's bold approach to farming unlocks the permanent growth potential for even the poorest of the hungry in Africa by providing a comprehensive service bundle: farm inputs on credit, weekly farm education sessions, and access to output markets. In just six years of operation, One Acre Fund has grown to serve 125,000 farm families and is more than doubling in size every year. Check out the video:
