BBMG Releases 2009 Conscious Consumer Report

BBMG, a branding firm based in both New York and San Francisco, just released its second national study on purchasing behavior and social values. The 2009 BBMG Conscious Consumer Report is designed to help companies understand what motivations are behind consumer purchasing. Through a national survey of 2,000 adults, BBMG found that nearly one in four U.S. consumers say they have “no way of knowing” if a product is green or actually does what it claims.

Peter Buffett and Akon Debut “Blood Into Gold” at the UN

We got word this week that musician and philanthropist Peter Buffet and R&B/pop star Akon are releasing a new track titled “Blood Into Gold” this Wednesday, March 25th. The song was written to commemorate the International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade. It will be performed live at the United Nation’s General Assembly Hall on Wednesday night.
