Dear AIDG Supporters,

At approximately 4:55 pm Eastern on Tuesday Port Au Prince experienced a magnitude 7.0 earthquake, with aftershocks of 5.9 and 5.7. There is widespread damage to infrastructure with numerous collapsed buildings. It is anticipated there will be a high casualty rate

Cheryl Dorsey Featured in Chronicle of Philanthropy

Echoing Green President Cheryl Dorsey and Paul Schmitz, chief executive of Public Alliess co-authored the article, "Social Innovation Fund Sends Important Signal to Grant Makers," which was featured in this week's Chronicle of Philanthropy. Cheryl and Paul served on the Obama transition team and helped inform the administration's work in social innovation.

Announcing the 2010 Echoing Green Semifinalists (Part 1)

Echoing Green is proud to announce that 350 incredible emerging social change organizations have been selected as semifinalists in our 2010 fellowship competition.  We received nearly 1,100 ideas for social change from nearly 70 countries around the world, and the announcement of our semifinalists is always very exciting.  As always, the Echoing Green staff and experienced evaluators were inspired and encouraged by the ideas, passion and enthusiasm for social change captured in the applications we received.
