Bart Decrem and Tapulous Featured in All Things Digital
1992 Echoing Green Fellow Bart Decrem has had an astonishing entrepreneurial career. He founded PluggedIn with an Echoing Green Fellowship in order to bridge the digital divide in East Palo Alto, CA in the days before web browsers and that whole Internet craze. He later went on to work on several high-profile technology projects including GNOME and the web browser Flock as well as co-founding the philanthropic Full Circle Fund.
These days, Bart stays busy as a co-founder in Tapulous, a leading software and game developer for Apple’s iPhone platform. Their newest creation, Tap Tap Revenge 2, has already been downloaded an astonishing 500,000 times in the past 3 days. Veteran Silicon Alley Reporter, Kara Swisher (of The Wall Street Journal’s All Things Digital), stopped by their offices for a quick tour in the video embedded below.
Congratulations Bart!
