Matt Smith is the director of finance at Echoing Green. He joins the organization after working for the United States Peace Corps for 10 years. Beginning as a volunteer in Romania leading the establishment of a local Habitat for Humanity affiliate, he left the Peace Corps as the Chief Administrative Officer for Global Operations after providing oversight and risk management leadership for over $200 million in public funding. He is a graduate of the Richmond College London, and the London School of Economics. When he doesn’t have his nose in a spreadsheet, Matt enjoys urban hikes, travelling and cooking with family and friends.
