Why do you do what you do?

wdydwyd sign: Everyone loves somebody deeply.

Love is the ultimate unifier. Who and how we love is unique to each of us. But that we love is shared. Knowing that reminds us of our inherent dignity and that we ALL deserve the best possible life.

What drew you to work at Echoing Green?

Echoing Green’s model brilliantly weaves two must-haves for me: entrepreneurism and social change. And, bonus, I get to work with the most outstanding people who look into the eye of a program and don’t flinch. Rather, they dream up magical solutions and have the gumption, drive, and passion to implement them. What’s better?

What book are you currently reading?

The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz, Life Entrepreneurs by Christopher Gergen, Gregg Vanourek

What do you do for fun in your free time?

Walk everywhere I can in whatever shoes I am wearing and in any weather.

When was your last Be Bold moment?

My last Be Bold moment was coming up with the topic of the next Be Bold book. I literally can’t wait to get started.

In the next month, I plan to…

Learn samba. My brother’s an expert and even though he inherited all the musical genes in the family, I want to give it a whirl.
