John delivers increased impact through investment in socially-oriented entrepreneurial and sustainable businesses in addition to overseeing all Echoing Green finances. Before joining us, John worked in venture capital and private equity at Chart Group, as well as holding senior management and design positions at defense electronics companies BAE Systems and Pentland Systems. John graduated from the EMBA-Global program at Columbia and London Business Schools in 2008, and received the Distinguished Service Award for his service to the schools and the program. When he is not in the office, or teaching at Columbia, you can find him roll casting dry flies into the Housatonic River.
