Laura White

What moves you?
People who combine their passions and talents to change the world move me.
After founding Swim 4 Success, an organization that provides free swimming lessons for low-income youth, Laura White discovered the power of combining interests and skills to improve the world. As an undergraduate at Tulane University, Laura co-developed a pilot student social venture incubator, organized the first annual TEDxTU event, and helped a professor turn a traditional service-learning class into a social innovation class. She also co-founded Citizen Circles, which helps communities develop peer-facilitated social innovation courses. Laura continues to strive for a world where everyone uses their talents and passions to address social problems.
