Didier Sylvain

Didier builds community among our Fellows and magnifies their social impact. Prior to joining Echoing Green he was a management consultant with Deloitte, where he advised clients in strategic planning and leadership development. Didier founded Active Minds Institute, a nonprofit that designed and built the first experiential learning charter school in St. Louis. He has also worked for the Institute of International Education, the 2004 Kerry/Edwards Presidential Campaign, and the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation. Didier is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon, Boston College, and the United Nations International School. He also completed a Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs focused on ethical and civil leadership. When he is not providing support to our Alums at key inflection points, you can find him in Harlem producing devotional electronic music and studying futurist art forms of the Afrodiaspora.
