Echoing Green is proud to announce that the following organizations have been named semifinalists in our 2008 fellowship competition. We received nearly 1,500 applications this year, of which only 347 (24%) were selected as semifinalists. These incredible social entrepreneurs work in 41 countries (from Argentina to Zimbabwe), 38 states (from Alabama to Wisconsin), and just about every program area (from arts and culture to youth and children).
So congratulations to these organizations and good luck in the next phase of the competition!
